So many in this business are focused on the “end goal” of The Delivery, yet they fail to miss the point: The Delivery is not the end, it is the beginning. The Delivery is the birth of the product. A successful product has a life beyond delivery, and perhaps even a death. All of this is what most in the technology business call “Maintenance”.

I’ve been a Blackberry user for five years, across three different devices, including the old two-way pager. I’ve been interested in the iPhone since its release, but without real Exchange support, the first iPhone was not an option. Then it became a personal challenge to keep my Blackberry alive as long as possible. When the click-wheel finally broke, it was time to make the switch.
